Pluses. Tried Kayaking Saw and experienced the 5000 freshies who came for the orientation camp Bonded well with freshies and seniors Mixed around with people fro other CCAs( Life saving and Canoeists ) -New friends HAH. saw Crystal! helped kah yuen's team ( and they got 3rd! whoot) Business won! 5th year in a row! Minus-es Not very good at kayaking. capsized like crazy didnt see Emma. haha! Wet my phone! mixed feelings with, i dont even know. i just feel confused over SOMETHING. (and i dont know what the SOMETHING IS) Well, pretty crazy day, okay so the entire TPDB team camped in school on thursday, cuz we had to report at 5.30 today. heh slept at 2. the night was fun la. chun leng was a great laugh. haha he and his crazy -keep people up games, like, pointing the 16 degrees air con directly at people's feet. oh and putting his toasted bread at sleeping peoples noses and making them wake up feelin hungry. HAHAH genius. anyhoo the day was ok la at first, wasnt too hot in the beginning. the first 3 hours was pretty aight, but boring though. ok so the highlights were kayaking, using the life-saving team's banana boat, and also drumming for the IT school! haha YAY they got 3rd! yeah i'm pretty thankful for that the feeling and experience was AWESOME. i looked pretty confident i know, cuz of the front i was puttin up, but i was SO shit nervous after EVERY stroke that the boat made, and i slipped twice, almost fell, gripped the drum till my fingers turned white ( bleeding even) and my legs were SHIVERING. like, FER REAL. uncontrollable shakin. haha thats how scared stiff i was, but apparently my hands were VERY relaxed! hmm ODD HUH. then i couldnt get outta the boat cuz i was afraid i'd collapse on the pontoon. and i DROWNED my phone! ok la. the initial part was hillarious, when the DB guys load the boats into the water, there is a part where the ground underwater is SUPER smooth cuz of the algae growing on it. SO. i was pushing da boat, when. . I GOT DRAGGED DOWWN,. . DOOOOWN. then i panicked la! so i grabbed the nearest arm, and i pulled shi-ying down into the water with me! haha! and the funny part is that it was SUPER slow motion. haha! yeah. then i spent a good 2 mins in the water la. so i think my phone is dead. BUT. i never gave up hoping. i realized that hope makes people act differently. hard to explain but as i spent the 1 hour in the toilet blow drying my phone, i did alot of soul searchin. haha of all times. the ending of the day was. tiring. i just listened and ignored, people praised us, people criticised us, " coulda done better." or " wow great job even thought you guys lacked people, GOOD JOB!" pfft. meaningless. im just glad the day is over. i need rest so badly. I've also got this sea sick feeling now, cuz i've been on a floating platform for over 6 hours, my body's been accustomed to the ebb and flow of the reservoire. so everywhere i walk to, i'll bob my head up and down to counter the effects. haha but the most impt thing is probably the pride that the TPDB team will feel after today, the recognition of the effort and time that we put into getting this day done. the ta-pao-ed MANGO PUDDINGS!
